Abstract


Sports stems from the basic life pursuit of people, stems from hunting. So we can say that the development of sports is closely related to the development of philosophy,it is the reflection of people`s daily life.Because of the guiding role of Philosophy,it has the direct instructional function to any human production,so it has an effect on the development of Sports.That is to say the difference of the Chinese Sports and the Western Sports is from the different way of thinking.At present, none of the former studies has ever studied the effect of pure Philosophy to sports,the majority of scholars studied from the point of views of culture, cultural values and religion.Therefore, this thesis is a study on the influence of Monism and dualism philosophy to the eastern and western sports.And our object is the differences of China and West Philosophy and Sports.We discuss the difference of China and West sports, analyze the impacts of China Philosophy on traditional Chinese sports and the influences of West Philosophy on Westen sports, at last we conclue that the difference of Chinese and West sports comes from the difference between Chinese and Western philosophy.
