Abstract

The household contract responsibility system for liberation of rural labor force have contributed to rapid development of rural economy, however, as development of market economy, problems of small business gradually exposed, the gap between urban and rural areas has widened gradually.“Three rural issue”has become the key issue that constraints development of our country. This is because of implementation of our long-standing dual economic system, outflows of a lot of farm capital and net outflow of rural revenue over the years; on the other hand, small business has obstructed application of new technologies. Lack of high-quality rural labor force is also the influence that has limited development of rural economics. Leaving rural development, establishment of a harmonious society, including development of rural areas, can not be built. How to achieve rapid development of rural economy have become the issues that concern to our country and many scholars.Market economy is a reasonable allocation of all elements of economy, but there is also fierce competition. In a decentralized way to enter the market, farmers have faced three major difficulties: First, it is very difficult for them to contend with business and international business groups, as well as equal access to status of negotiations; secondly, it is difficult for farmers to obtain accurate market information, who have difficulty in buying and selling agricultural products; thirdly, they are difficult to access or share value-added profits in second and tertiary industries. About 43% profit of agricultural products is lost in circulation and processing. Improving weak position of farmers and enhancing competitiveness of farmers in market, international experience shows that organization of farmers is the right way to improve competitiveness of farmers in market and change weak position of agriculture. China’s agricultural practice in many places of our country also shows that cooperation is an effective way to develop agriculture.This paper combines China’s agricultural development conditions, and analysis all various forms of agricultural social organization, then from theoretical point to explain to us that organizing farmers to enter market is the preferred way to enhance competitiveness of farmers. Combining with status and problems of agriculture social organization of our country, and contrasting advanced experience of agriculture social organization in developed countries, we propose the countermeasures to develop agriculture. Finally from transformation and joint of agricultural social organization, and the way to develop agricultural social organization, we propose the idea to develop agricultural social organization in the future. As the market economy improving and China’s economic development, agricultural social organizations will take the path of joint, and China’s agricultural characteristics determines that the situation will exist for a long time that all various of agricultural social organizations coexist side by side.This paper is divided into seven parts. First three parts of the paper mainly analysis necessity of agricultural social organizations with vision of theory, including inferior nature of agriculture; Part IV analyzes various forms of agricultural social organizations and compare performance of various agricultural social organizations. Part V and part VI raises the issues of agricultural social organizations in our country and refer to advanced experiences of agricultural social organizations internationally. Of above analysis, Part VII raises strategies to develop agricultural social organizations and future vision of agricultural social organizations.
