Abstract


The Chinese lamps in Qin & Han Dynasty carries hundreds of pre-Qin philosophers’ thinking of outstanding cultural traditions and the creation of thought, which contains many excellent design conceptions, specifically refers to the combination of form and function, the rational use of materials and the introduction of environmental design factors. These design concepts are still sparkling with the light of wisdom at present.In this paper, investigation, analysis, comparative study to various schools based on hundreds of ideas have been done in different ways,, from the design perspective of ancient Chinese lamps in order to identify the thinking and characteristics of the designs in the Qin and Han Dynasties and sum up the refined conception, providing a scientific idea for modern design and hoping for China’s modern design with nationalized characters, though it has been deeply influenced by the western.Qin and Han Dynasty in ancient lamps as lighting is the use of traditional aesthetic and functional design for a model. The design concept of the study will help to explore the concept of traditional Chinese design and implementation of a concrete embodiment. Mexican Pre-Qin Confucianism is the main one hundred schools of thought, the ideas in the subsequent two millennia of Chinese art and culture affect the development of tone, so that the cradle of Chinese culture. Many of these ideas and the creation of the core of modern design concept is the same views, rather than a more humane and logical. Design in the future, increasing emphasis on nationalization and personalized design, at the same time the complete diversion of the traditional style has been unable to meet the requirements of a modern aesthetic.The full paper is divided into three parts, the first part of introduction, a brief description of the significance of the subject, research, research methods and objectives.The body of the second is divided into two parts for discussion.The aesthetic design conception of Pre-major schools thought of Confucianism, Taoist School, Mohist School effective on the Qin and Han lamps has been studied and the design conception in Qin & Han periods has been analyzed, the comparison of conceptive similarities and differences of the design in Qin & Han Dynasty and modern time, as well as the design conception in Qin & Han Dynasties to the present practical significance. The third part is the summary, the enlightenment of the design conception in Qin & Han Dynasties for the modern design.
