Abstract


Objective: To investigate atlantoaxial fracture dislocation with posterior pedicle screw fixation and fusion method and efficacy . Methods: 25 patients with atlantoaxial fracture dislocation in patients with the purposes posterior pedicle screw fixation and fusion , occipitocervical internal fixation and fusion of the vertebral arch fracture and pedicle small . Results: The follow-up of 2 to 48 months , an average of 20 months . Postoperative neurological symptoms were significantly improved , X-ray review see fracture and dislocation has been reset , pedicle screws in good position , no loose or broken nails , bone graft from 3 to 6 months are up bone fusion . Conclusion: pedicle screw fixation and fusion is an effective method of treatment of atlantoaxial fracture dislocation .
