Abstract


Since 1990s, industrial cluster theory has become an important theory of regional economic development, and is widely used in manufacturing and high-technology industries. Through communication and cooperation, Cluster enterprises use the benefits of scale economies and regional economies, bring a strong spillover effect, and promote a particular region even the entire national economic development. Practice shows that the areas with industrial clusters, its economic growth rate is much higher than other areas, such as the commodity industry in Zhejiang, specialized towns in Guangdong and so on, are the typical representative of regional economic development.With the rapid development of tourism and an increasingly competitive tourism market, how to optimize the tourism structure and how to improve the competitiveness of tourism destinations have become the practice problems to be urgently solved. As an effective way to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, Industrial clusters are concerned by tourism. Scholars have started to pay attention to industrial cluster theory applied to the development of the tourism industry. At present, research on the tourism industry cluster is relatively small in our country; research on the tourism industry cluster of southern region in Guangxi is even fewer. Therefore, based on the summarization and comb of the tourism industry cluster concept\characteristics\ influencing factors and its competitive advantages, the paper tries to use industrial cluster theory as a direction, and further explore the practice application of tourism industry cluster theory in the tourism industry. Then the article uses the tourism of southern region in Guangxi as the study object, on the basis of the status of tourism development, lists the favorable conditions and the problems for tourism cluster development, and put forward specific measures. The main research ideas and perspectives are as follows:Firstly, the paper analyses the necessity of tourism cluster in Southern of Guangxi. With the national policy leaning and depending on its rich natural resources, Guinan changes the tourism pattern of north weight light south into both north and south in Guangxi, which improves the tourism industry status of Guinan. With a certain size of tourism industry and tourism products types maturing, Guinan is fit for tourism industry cluster. But there are still many constraints, tourism products is extensively managed; the number and the structure of tourism personnel are irrational; tourism infrastructure are weak; the coordination of the association of related tourism industries are not enough; the regional distribution of tourism industry is unreasonable. In order to respond to the future challenges, Guinan must be adjust and optimize the tourism industry structure. Therefore, the paper proposes tourism industry cluster as a new strategy to optimize and upgrade the tourism industrial structure of Guinan.Secondly, with Michael. Porter’s diamond theory and the particularity of the tourism industry, the article builds a "diamond model" of tourism industry cluster to analyze the feasibility of tourism industry cluster in Guinan, that factor conditions\ demand conditions\ development opportunities\ the role of government\ related degree of industry. Base on the above analysis, the paper draw the conclusion: although the diamond system of tourism industry cluster in Guinan has not been complete, Guinan have the possibility of tourism industrial cluster.Thirdly, the paper proposes corresponding measures. First, Guinan involves a number of cities, the support and the lead of the government are the preconditions to develop tourism industry cluster. Therefore, in order to create a favorable external environment for the development of tourism industry, Guinan need to rely on the efforts of the government, break the administrative divisions, improve the infrastructure. Joint development products and integrated marketing to avoid similar products; extend the tourism industry chain, set the overall image of the region. Finally, the implementation of tourism human resources strategy and the emphasis on the development of Guinan tourism human resources are to provide intellectual support for tourism industry development.
