Abstract


Background: Functional constipation (functional constipation, FC) is excluded gut, systemic organic disease and drug factors other than the functional diseases with constipation-predominant disease, and can be accompanied by abdominal distension, anorexia, dry mouth, fatigue, malaise and other symptoms. Clinically, constipation, functional constipation accounted for 50% or more. According to reports, the crowd in the overall incidence of 6.07% ~ 14.7%, and increases with age, 65 years old prevalence rate of 40.2%. FC though not lead directly to death, but seriously affect the patient's quality of life and may lead to certain diseases incentives, such as acne, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular accident, Alzheimer's disease, colorectal cancer, and its harm to human body should not be underestimated, has attracted attention. But the cure of this disease is still troubled gastroenterologist is a major problem. Therefore, in order to protect people's health, it is necessary to explore a truly effective treatment. Objective: Through clinical research, observation Qi intestines treating functional constipation in the elderly the clinical efficacy of the promotion for the parties to seek a scientific basis. Research Methods: 77 cases meet the conditions in the elderly with chronic functional constipation were randomly divided into two groups. Treatment group 38 cases, be Qi intestines decoction, decoction, served on a; control group 39 cases, bedtime oral bisacodyl enteric-coated tablets 10mg treatment. The treatment lasted four weeks. Before and after treatment were observed 8 weeks after stopping the number of patients with bowel movements per week, defecation time, the degree of difficulty of defecation, stool characteristics, along with disease five indicators, press soft targets integral method to calculate the symptom score, changes in symptom score to evaluate the efficacy and recurrence. The collected data using SPSS13.0 statistical software for statistical analysis. Results: 77 cases collected in the treatment group 38 cases, shedding four cases, the completion of treatment 34 cases; the control group 39 cases, shedding eight cases, the completion of treatment 31 cases. Two groups of patients in terms of gender, age, weight, condition and severe cases no significant differences (P> 0.05). 2 weeks of treatment the treatment group, the total effective rate was 73.53% in the control group was 80.65%, no significant difference between two groups; treatment for 4 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate was 79.41%, 74.19% in the control group, two groups showed no statistical significance; 4 weeks after stopping treatment group, the recurrence rate was 18.52% in the control group was 50.00%, the statistical analysis, the treatment group, recurrence was significantly less than the control group (P <0.05); eight weeks after stopping treatment group relapsed 33.33% in the control group was 60.87%, the statistical analysis, the treatment group, recurrence was significantly less than the control group (P <0.05). Three groups of patients before and after treatment routine, liver and kidney function and electrocardiogram showed no abnormalities. Treatment group no significant adverse reactions, the control group during the treatment of mild diarrhea in one case, six cases of abdominal pain. Conclusion: Qi intestines treating functional constipation in the elderly have a good effect, can improve symptoms and reduce relapse, and fewer adverse reactions, have a good clinical value.
