Abstract


About the Cultural Revolution art , people mostly from the perspective of art history and sociological research , but also from the perspective of iconography portraits of Mao Zedong and other studies , there are some scholars main departure from the creation of the Red Guards to study art , but the Cultural Revolution art as an art symbols from nature and impact on the later creation of the perspective of the small, visible only been involved in a number of related aspects . I think first of the Cultural Revolution was a national collective ideological revolutionary movement in popular culture , has a similar religious ideology and moral character , which is under the rule of a political ideology and cultural reconstruct cultural cleansing , trying to redesign cultural traditions and cultural order . Thus symbolic art of this period in the spiritual essence and nature of religious art and religion have some similarities. They are in for outperformed , love, universal , fanatical efforts so boring , they are for the future , the ideal , the ideal of collective and other fantasy world sent . The development of the Cultural Revolution has a certain historical reasons, it is deeply rooted in traditional Chinese emperors cultural system among the Chinese Confucian culture and imperial thought development in the extreme. In this historical context, the use of the results of previous studies topics , through the Cultural Revolution art symbolic nature of inquiry , for us to understand the nature of art during the Cultural Revolution to provide a theoretical basis for the views and thus better the creative arts and historical and socio-political culture combine for us to study the Cultural Revolution art to provide a new perspective to help us better understand and grasp that particular period in the arts. On the other hand we should also see the Cultural Revolution to our psychological and aesthetic visual impact than the Cultural Revolution decade , even in the Cultural Revolution is now a little art symbols can still evoke a wide range of inner resonance Chinese people , this effect can not be ignored, because it is still partially controlled Chinese contemporary art discourse mode while the background and become a lingering shadow , so we should also see the symbol in contemporary art during the Cultural Revolution cultural context , through reproduction in the symbol means within the meaning of meaning can vary surviving the case of Chinese contemporary art for the heritage.
