Abstract


On the basis of the traditional characteristics,the modern fiber art has developed into pluralistic stages at a rapid pace.Various and updated materials,modalities, techniques and approaches render and create the unique and specific visual linguistics and the methods of representations,which is no longer limited to traditional fabric modes.In contrast with the traditional fabric art,the modern one is the most popular fashion admired by almost artists,which,in addition,could meet individual meet further at the aspects of aesthetics.In the guidance of modern art that puts an emphasis on formal factors against old-fashioned thinking patterns,modern fabric art takes advantage of temporary and novel materials and extends to a new filed rather than the sheer techniques with fresh aesthetic sense.There is a tendency for modern fabric art to develop in more and more multiple way in such respects as materials,visual qualities,craft skills and art functions,etc.
