To a good number of middle-small enterprises, it is a serious problem how to decline production cost and improve the response to the market by normative management and sharing the information. As one advanced enterprise management software, the Purchase-Sales-Inventory system can solve all these problems well. This paper based on object-oriented analysis and design method, uses UML as modeling language, Visual C++ as development kit, ADO as database interface API, SQL Server as database system and C/S as application program structure to analyze、design and realize the Purchase-Sales-Inventory management system.Firstily, this paper introduces the subject background, the study condition at home and abroad and the main tasks of subject. Secondly, considering the system actual appliance that inventory control does the thing in their ways and in their fields in the process of purchase, production and sales, which is lack of overalling planning and coordination. The paper does in-depth researches in inventory problem systematically. The content is consisted of the optimization arithmetic of safety storage based on ABC Classification,fixed quantity order model to C materials and regular order model to A、B materials. Thirdly, the paper analyzes the system requirements using object-oriented analysis and design technology. The content is consisted of requirements in business、security、feasibility and expansibility. And using UML finishes the static modeling to purchase module、sales module and inventory module, and the dynamic modeling about the main business, such as purchase registration、sales registration、warehousing registration and inventory check. Then, on the base of the system requirements, we establish the function module of the system, choose the design platforms and tools, the system frame and database interface API, and design the database including conception framework design、logic framework design and physical framework design. And encapsulate database interface API by user-defined class. Finally, introduces the design and realization of the function components in detail, including the design of login interface, the main interface, purchase registration, purchase information management, sales registration, warehousing registration, inventory check management and so on.Tests and trial operation show that the system is reliable and stable in operation, friendly in interface, convenient and rapid in information processing, which can satisfy the needs of middle-small enterprises and reach the expected desired goals.
