Abstract


Ecological criticism late in the twentieth century , increasingly serious global environmental crisis , the rise in Europe and the United States gradually to the world 's expanding literary wave of criticism . With the development of eco- criticism , Hemingway critics triggered a new round of research boom - from an ecological perspective the ecological awareness Hemingway literary criticism research . Some scholars have recognized the ecological awareness of Hemingway is complex, but most of them starting from the single text , from the relationship between man and nature , to discuss a view of nature , yet to Hemingway 's ecological thinking comprehensively and systematically analysis . In view of this, this paper attempts to Hemingway as the object of the study examined the expression of ecological awareness in the discussion of these works , in-depth analysis of the complex paradox of their ecological awareness and the the Hemingway Eco - conscious paradox reasons deep-seated resolve . The paper is divided into five parts . The first part is an introduction and literature review , the second part of the analysis of Hemingway ecological awareness paradox about the relationship between man and nature and their causes, the third part describes the paradox of ecological awareness about the relationship between man and animal , fourth and fifth parts from the point of view of men and women , whites and people of color , explains the paradox of the interaction between ecological awareness . In this paper, the ecological criticized for theoretical support , through the interpretation of Hemingway , explore the paradox Hemingway's ecological awareness . By analyzing the embodiment and the causes of the the Hemingway Eco - conscious paradox , I want to be able to more comprehensive understanding of Hemingway's ecological thinking, as well as the creation of Hemingway more objective interpretation .
