Abstract


Korfball,the only mixed team sport which has been admitted by the International Olympic Committee originated from Holand in 1902.In 1920 and 1928 it appeared on Olympic Games as a performance item and got wide influence quickly.In 1933 the International Korfball Federation was founded.On March 2004 led by the International Korfball Federation president, the Dutch korfball national team came to china for korfball performance and spreading,which was a symbol that korfball sport spread to china. On November 2007 Shaoxing City,Zhejiang Province became the host city of the 2011 9th world korfball tournament by means of local government highly regarding,its profound cultural heritage,perfect venues facilities,convenient traffic system,efficient logistics and especially the large korfball marketing in china.This successful bidding was a result of high regard of the International Korfball Federation and our government.Since 2004 on I have attended korfball training and korfball match many times.In this paper I make a research on the proper group,the developing model and direction and the analysis of strength and weakness for korfball sport spreading in china by the interview to experts and the investigation.I try to develop a "four stages" theoretical framework for understanding the spread of korfball in china:first, developing in the universities located in the capital city or municipality,second,developing in the universities located in the neighbor cities,third,developing in more groups and the last, developing in the whole country.It’ s "DPMT Sustainable Development Plan"Nowadays there are few researches on the sustainable development of korfball in china.In this paper I’ll try to spread this sport and hope there are more people joining korfball sport.
