Abstract

The university track and field team,made up of the high level athletes and average athletes admitted by the school,is a school team for participating contests inside and outside the school and the domestic and foreign competition.The after school training is the university important constituent,and an important symbol for weighing the development of school sports enterprise.The experimental setting of high level team in university is an significant reform of our country’ s sports system,with the aim of comprehensive developing the sports technical skills of the university and middle school students,and the aim of completing the assignment that is organized by the Education Committee alone for participating the worldwide university and middle school students sports meeting,and thus gradually makes the Education Committee an important competent of the Chinese sports team.The Education Committee of Shan Xi province organizes the university trace and field games every two years,the aim of which is inspecting the training the result of the especially admitted high level athletes and amateur athletes of the school. Each university are required to participate the sports meeting.Every university have show their trace and field levels though the sixth university sports meeting in 2006.This article chooses eight university trace and field team in Tai Yuan city as research objects,and investigates the problem,the factors affecting the development and the countermeasure far the future development,through the investigation and analysis of the Shan Xi province Tai Yuan university trace and field team’s situation,by the means of document and material research,experts interview questionnaire,and so on.The conclusion of research is as the following.1.The sports level of athletes of Shan Xiprovince Tai Yuan university trace and field team is low.what’s more.They have difficulty in study.The training incentive of the athletes is clear and the training value for them is healthy.2.The age stature of trainer and the sex proportion of then are basically reasonable,but the number of female trainer is relatively small.The structure of study experience and position is reasonable.The trainers are all part-time trainers.The opportunity of receiving is small for these trainers.But their incentive of leading the team is clear.3.The outlay for training is little,not enough for the training cost.The subsidy for the students and the trainer is little.Schools have prejudice on the measurement of time of trainer’s training job.4.The basic form of the training of the trace and field team is short-time training.The training time of athletes can’t be guaranteed.The chance of participative in the game is small for these athletes.5.The facilities for training can basically satisfy the trainer in the university in Tai Yuan city of Shah Xi province.But we lack the field for long throwing.And the special training equipment needs to be provided.6.The attention to the trace and field team paid by the university leader in Tai Yuan city of Shah Xi province is little.And the goal for the specially admitted high level athletes is unclear
