Abstract


Athletics research is one of the forward momentum of the track and field sports, guiding the development of athletics. Athletics as a basis for major items of competitive sports, occupies an important position in the development of competitive sports to improve in order to promote the level of China's athletics, it was a lot of research work, and published many research papers and reports. In this study, the 2003 - 2007 five-year period, 13 kinds of Chinese Sports Core Journal (\, Xi'an Institute of Physical Education, Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education \Journal) Athletics scientific papers published 847 papers for the study. This article mainly use bibliometric methods, through the five-year sports class core journals athletics sports-related 847 papers of research, from the article Papers Author circumstances, research methods, Fund Citation situation conducted a statistical analysis of its main characteristics and laws, an objective analysis and evaluation to identify the status of the athletics academic research in the five years of its existence and development of the law, and to provide a theoretical basis for the research and development of athletics.
