Abstract

With the rapid development of industrialization and modernization, a large number of persistent pollutants such as phenols, acid dyes and organic pesticide are swarming into water-environment. twhich have poor biodegradability and long existence and become a serious threat to the safety of water-environment. Therefore, it is urgently important to study the treatment of persistent pollutants in water-environment. However, with complex ingredient and stability structure, it is hard to achieve the desired objectives by ordinary means of degradation. With the advanced characteristics of good environmental compatibility, adaptability, energy efficiency, safety, reliability and automation control, the technology of Electro-catalysis is widely applied to pollutants treatment presently. Based on the electro-catalysis technology, this article takes eosin and phenol as object of study, ascertains the optimum conditions by single factor experiment carries out the development test on modified electro-catalysis electrodes and modified electro-catalyst, discusses the role of sepiolite and graphene in electro-catalysis process, and then analyses their impact on the rate of electro-catalytic degradation and contributions to improve the degradation rate. To make further research on the degradation mechanism in electro-catalytic degradation, this article employs GA-BP neural network technology to build separation and determination method for a series of material of phenol. The conclusions are as follows:(1) The degradation rate of the simulation of pollutant, which takes place under the low pressure pulse is obviously better than the direct current condition. And under the best conditions, the degradation rate under the low pressure pulse is 60% higher than the degradation under the direct current condition.(2)As a modifier for electro-catalysis electrodes, Tin oxide can significantly improve the catalytic activity of combined catalyst. The catalytic efficiency of the combined electrical catalyst prepared in this study is higher than that without the tin oxide by 93.0%. However, using repeated 5 times the catalytic activity significantly decreased. On this basis, we found sepiolite does not have a significant effect on improving the electro-catalytic efficiency, while the nature of the catalyst became more stable, using repeated 5 times the catalytic activity of the electrical catalyst can still maintain more than 90% of its original catalytic activity.(3)modificated graphene can significantly improve the activity of the electrical catalytic material, preparaed the electro-catalytics in the most suitable condition, and applicated the electro-catalytics to degradated the stimulation waste water, after degradated the waste water(Eosin and phenol,50mg/L) two hours we can remove more than 99% of pollutions from the waste water. So graphene could significantly improve the catalytic efficiency of electricity, and in the electric field of catalyst preparation it has broad application prospects.(4) Using the established GA-BP neural network model, this paper predicts the substance of phenol series. GA-BP neural network technology can predict the series of phenol, hydroquinone, catechol and resorcinol. In the best network model, the error of prediction is 11%. By using the prediction series we fit the electro-catalytic degradation of phenol kinetic equation, and find that phenol electric catalytic degradation process is a kind of Level 1 dynamic equation.
