Abstract


Kunming,Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau is located inland type borderland cities, Southeast Asia and the traffic between the portal,in the modern period of 30 years (1910-1945) period,to the rapid rise and development,which has become the Anti-Japanese War the country’s strategic rear.In this paper,studies have shown that modern Kunming in physical geography and location-based and rely on trade-offs in the area under the growth,coupled with war and major historical events such as external force,due to traffic technology and opening up lines to pull.From the macro,middle and micro level three,transportation factors on the development of the city have had a role and influence of the corresponding:the macro level,urban transportation advantage into Kunming,the advantage of regional economic zones,has stimulated the expansion of urban markets,and enhance the city radiation and consolidate the regional economic center of Kunming city;middle level, the city traffic to promote the transformation of the functions and features to guide the direction of development of the city for the expansion of the size of the cities provided the basis for conditions;micro-level,traffic to the modern industrial zone in transition and the emergence and formation of commercial support,and led to the development and administrative changes in the structure of social life,and promote the Kunming-based administrative functions to a single function to the political,economic, multi-functional transport the changing nature of both cities.Traditional urban scale and fabric of urban space transport technology due to a certain change in the innovation.Research also shows that the modern city of Kunming has been started,but is still in the pre-industrial period of the initiative,a gradual development of urban form characteristics.At the same time,the construction of the modern city of Kunming and planning activities have been gradually carried out,including a number of building regulations and norms of development and a series of programs and plans adopted,not only was the building of the city have a certain significance,but also of contemporary urban development have an important impact on development.Kunming,the development of modern times is that all the factors,but the impact of modern traffic in Kunming city in transition is the primary factor in the development,growth and development of its main driving force.This article is the innovation to the modern city of Kunming,a major factor in transition - the traffic for the starting point to explore the characteristics of the modern transformation of Kunming city,the impact of elements of the mechanism and its role in the process of urban development in recent theoretical study has some exploratory,and today’s decision-making basis for the provision of urban construction.
