Abstract


Qingdao dating back only 100 years of history, this magnificent 100 years is the epitome of modern Chinese history. From November 14, 1897 since the German occupation of Jiaozhou Bay, Qingdao city in the external force, under the rule after the German model of modern urban space and urban style initially formed 17 years; further development to the Japanese colonialists, the Northern Government, Nanjing government regime change in urban construction and development period; experienced Japanese colonial occupation and the second time after the war the temporary takeover of the national government's slow development, ushered in Qingdao, People's Republic was established in 1949. In half a century, Qingdao evolved from a small fishing village has become a major coastal port city in China's modern urban planning and construction typical ideological significance. More importantly, this period of Qingdao city construction and planning, reflects the social background and ideology under the influence of urban planning from theory to practice, the East-West struggle between collision and fusion process. Qingdao is China's modern history of urban development by external force developed typical.
