Cooperating with the portable IFF system,the portable antiaircraft missile system increases its power greatly,decreases the error and increase its reaction speed.Taking the great demand of IFF system in the portable antiaircraft missile system into consideration,this dissertation mainly discusses about the development of interrogator. The development focuses on miniaturization,low power dissipation and practicality.Firstly,the dissertation describes the operational principle of IFF system,in which it focuses on the five interferences and five key specifications that affect the system significantly followed by the corresponding solutions.It is the theoretical basis of the development.Secondly,it designs the interrogator for the portable IFF system,which includes the design for host machine(transceiver and terminal),display control unit and antenna.It completes the calculation of the technical specification and the design of common hardware devices for the signal processing.In this part,it focuses on the single pulse technology and high-power sum-difference channel fast switching technology.It realizes the function of enquiry in mode 1,2,3/a,c,encrypt and alternation and of sum-difference two way transmission by using single channel.It solves the problems of low orientation resolution and frequent trigger enquiry side lobeThirdly,it designs and demonstrates the reliability and maintenance of the interrogator from the angle of engineering..Lastly,it tests the transmission channel,transmission spectrum,transmission pulse envelope and other specification of receiver and terminal.After that,it conducts the wire and wireless test of the system and then flight-tests.The test results show that the interrogator meets the requirements of the system.
