Abstract

Objective To understand people transverse process of the incidence of the mutation in the hole and by measuring CT transverse foramen diameter line data, to provide a reference for anterior cervical surgery, further emphasized the routine preoperative CT scan for the importance of the prevention of vertebral artery injury surgery. Methods from 2007 to 2008, the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University, China Medical University, Shaoxing hospital outpatient or inpatient CT image data, based on the relationship between the transverse process hole edge with vertebral outer edge of the transverse foramen is divided into three types : the vertebral form factor (A), (B) the vertebral body type (C), and the measured C3 ~ C6 transverse foramen transverse diameter (a), the superior sagittal diameter (b), intermediate transverse process of hole edge pitch (e), the transverse process hole edge of the vertebral midline distance (d), (c) the distance between the transverse process hole edge with vertebral outer edge of the transverse foramen and spinal shortest distance (f) 6 parameters using spss12.0 Software data collection for statistical analysis were compared transverse process whether the distinction between the holes on both sides of each vertebral body to analyze the significance of the measurement. Results 1 transverse foramen vertebral shape, intermediate, and vertebral body type accounted for 83.34%, 16.37%, 0.29%, including two cases of transverse foramen obviously broke into the vertebral body. 2 aperture measurements of the transverse foramen the left side of the transverse diameter was 0.68 ± 0.19cm, lost like diameter was 0.56 ± 0.18cm, the the transverse process hole edge with vertebral outer edge of distance was 0.14 ± 0.20cm, transverse process hole edge vertebral midline distance of 1.30 ± 0.28cm, transverse foramen and spinal shortest distance of 0.48 ± 0.18cm; right side of the transverse diameter of 0.65 ± 0.17 cm, lost like diameter of 0.53 ± 0.17 cm, the transverse process of hole edge with distance of the vertebral outer edge to 0.16 ± 0.21cm, the transverse process hole edge of the vertebral midline distance of 1.28 ± 0.30cm, the transverse foramen spinal shortest distance of 0.46 ± 0.18cm; transverse process of hole edge spacing of 2.57 ± 0.18cm. Wherein the distance between the transverse process of the hole edge and vertebral outer edge portion of the vertebral body is not clear due to the edge can not be measured, the measured is less data. 3, statistical analysis showed that the same vertebral bilateral transverse foramen contrast the shows loss like diameter C4 left> right side, the C5 left side> right; ipsilateral vertebral transverse foramen compared with each other shows the transverse diameter of the left C5
