Product innovation is throughout product conception, design, trial-produce, marketing of the whole process of the market-oriented system engineering, it is multidimensional interwoven combination of functional innovation, form innovation, service innovation.With the intense market competition, the product innovation has become a key factor of the enterprise competition.Iron and steel is the national economy’s "food". The iron and steel industry as the foundation of the national economy, is a leading industry to accelerate the industrialization. The ability to innovate, carry on the product innovation, is a basic way to improve the competitiveness of the steel industry. Hebei as the first iron and steel province, iron and steel production is already in the first place in nine consecutive years, the scale advantage of iron and steel industry is prominent. But, after years of rapid growth, there is an important problem (insufficient innovation)in Hebei iron and steel industry development, "big but not strong" restricted the development of iron and steel industry in Hebei province. Therefore, how to promote the enterprise product innovation ability in Hebei iron and steel industry, is an important problem to speed up the development of Hebei iron and steel industry, and to speed up the transformation of economic development mode from "fast" to "good".
