Objective: To study the metabolic syndrome TCM Hou rules for the treatment of metabolic syndrome in Chinese medicine to provide evidence . Methods: According to Case Western diagnostic criteria and exclusion criteria will be selected 234 cases of patients with metabolic syndrome through syndrome differentiation, the first sub- deficiency , empirical two kinds of syndromes , deficiency was divided Yang and Yin , Qi, blood ; evidence was divided stasis , phlegm , damp , gastrointestinal accumulated heat ; while patients with metabolic syndrome is divided into yin Deficiency syndromes major merger , damp with blood stasis , qi clip phlegm , blood stasis, yin and yang . By TCM types , to understand metabolic syndrome TCM distribution Results: Metabolic syndrome (49.7%) deficiency , empirical 50.3 % respectively, the difference was not statistically significant. Qi deficiency syndrome in a single 176 cases ( 75.2% ) , 148 cases of yin deficiency ( 63.2% ) , 138 cases of damp ( 58.9% ) , phlegm 118 cases ( 50.4% ) , blood stasis 114 cases ( 48.7% ) , 56 cases of gastrointestinal hot certificates ( 23.9% ) , deficiency syndrome 54 cases ( 23.1% ) , blood deficiency 6 cases ( 2.6% ) ; portfolio Qi Deficiency syndrome in 74 cases ( 31.6% ) , hot and humid folder stasis 47 cases ( 20.5% ) , 42 cases of deficiency clip phlegm ( 17.9% ) , QDBS 28 cases ( 11.9% ) , 22 cases of deficiency of yin and yang, two ( 9.4% ) . CONCLUSION : Metabolic syndrome mainly deficiency as the main deficiency syndromes , evidence mainly heat, phlegm as the main syndromes ; view from the merger syndrome , metabolic syndrome, the most common of Qi , followed by heat blood stasis , Qi clip phlegm .
