Abstract


Perfect combination songs of poetry and music occupy a consequence at the vocality themes, Beethoven as a pioneer of composers in Germany and Austria, more than 60 art songs created by him provided a lot of references for the subsequent creation of the art song and contributed enormously to the development of art song. Love had important effect on Beethoven’s life and music creation, Beethoven put his colorful love life into the creation of art songs which took a very important position in his songs.This paper is divided into two parts to mainly explore Beethoven’s love songs, firstly analyzes his four creative phases and the characteristics of lyric and creation from his development and creative features of love song, secondly opens out the artistic charm of his art song by analysising his representative works in different periods of time. The general structure of this paper is as follows:Chapter one, creative process of Beethoven’s lovesongs.Chapter two, musical features of Beethoven’s love songs.Chapter three, singing style of Beethoven’s love songs.Chapter four, singing analyse of Beethoven’s representative love songs.
