Abstract


Folk dancing music is a kind of singing and instrumental playing accompanied with dancing.which is popular in the folk.Manchu folk dancing music is an important part of Manchu folk dancing, and it is difficult to create a good dance piece without a good dancing music.Manchu folk dancing music is not only dancing music for shaman ritual, but also for some other folk customs, which is an indispensable part in Manchu people’s lives for generations.But because of living together with Han, intermarriages between the two races, as well as economic and cultural exchanges and integration in the past century, the Manchu folk dancing music was at the edge of the extinction up to the founding of New China.In this paper, I take the Manchu folk dancing music as the subject for the study, trying to discuss the style of Manchu folk dancing music and characteristics of its rhythms from the historical, cultural, and some other approaches.The paper is divided into four parts:Chapter One The historical origin and the development of Manchu folk dancing music .This chapter tries to discuss the origin and the development of the Manchu folk dancing music from the perspective of the history.Chapter two Cultural analysis of .the Manchu folk dancing music .Manchu folk dancing music rooted deeply in the Manchu culture, and its formation and developments affected by cultural factors. This chapter interprets the cultural effects on the Manchu folk dance music from the aspects of Manchu festivals, rituals, religious and other customs.Chapter three The characteristics of the Manchu of folk dancing music .This chapter makes a comprehensive analysis of mode and tonality, melody and ornament, rhythm and beat, musical instruments, and the forms of the Manchu folk dancing music.Chapter Four The heritage and development of the Manchu folk dancing music.Manchu folk dancing music is developing in the integration processes with other ethnic dancing music. This chapter analyses the current situation of the Manchu folk dancing music and put forth some suggestions on the development of the Manchu folk dancing music.
