Abstract

This paper attempts to integrate the perspective of the concept of Euphemism were analyzed in order to identify similarities and differences between them. Euphemism is a common phenomenon in various languages. For those with English or Chinese-speaking people, because of the language has been integrated into their instincts, they do not notice the origin and structure of euphemisms. And for those in English or Chinese as a second language for people who understand the rationale for its development and structure is very important. At present, many domestic and foreign scholars from many aspects of euphemisms were studied, in which the majority of studies related to rhetoric, semantics, pragmatics and social psychology analysis. Because it is restricted linguistic theories of development, these studies are not very comprehensive, but these studies also for linguistic theory development has laid a good foundation. The emergence of conceptual integration theory explains very well the language of cognitive approach. Conceptual integration theory is accompanied by the development of social science and technology, from a psychological space theory evolved a theory, its essence is the projection and integration of information online. According to Faulkner's classic treatise, this theory includes a total of four basic integration of network structure, namely: Simple Network (simplex networks), mirroring network (mirror networks), single domain network (single-scope networks) and dual-domain network (double-scope networks). With the Conceptual Integration Theory deepening domestic Linguistics, from 2000 onwards, many domestic scholars began to try to use it to explain some linguistic phenomena, such as: humor, translation and Sayings. Which there are some scholars euphemism cognitive mechanism of the interpretation of the concept of integration, but their study was limited to English euphemism, but they are not the explanation for the integration process is very comprehensive. Based on the two euphemisms dictionary four categories (crime, disease, death, sex) quantitative analysis found that: at least these four euphemisms, the Chinese euphemisms like \more than 50% the number; euphemism like \This shows that the Chinese euphemism Imagery is a key feature, while not having a euphemism this feature. Based on the above understanding, the authors cited in this article six examples, all three in English. Finally the authors found that, compared to the Chinese euphemism, euphemism is more easily understood, because people understand the Chinese euphemism requires two steps, rather just a euphemism step. Other hand, the English parts of speech and sentence class euphemism euphemisms shows that the \forms more complex, and thus its expression is also more abundant. In the chapter class euphemistic language, a simple network is more common. For the Chinese euphemism, because of its imagery and cognitive complexity of the steps, it is difficult to say that they simply use the kind of cognitive network structure. In fact, according to the Chinese euphemism to express the significance of the number and the length of the desired language to select different cognitive network structure. Finally, the authors tentatively given Euphemism cognitive reason for the difference. In the author's opinion, the western world and Chinese civilization, philosophy difference is the deepest reason for this difference. From the perspective of the concept of integration in Britain euphemism comparative analysis reveals the cognitive differences between them. Hopefully, this article attempts to study these can be helpful for future research.
