Abstract


Correspondence is one kind of elegant name being the ancients to the letter. The Chinese correspondence has the glorious history and the rich cultural connotation.The specialized terminology in this article is to refer to the comparatively fixed words and phrases in the correspondence in common use or the terminology that having the specific meaning. The specialized terminology is one remarkable and the concrete aspect that the correspondence style of writing distinguishes between other literature style articles in the ancient times.The Qing Dynasty Celebrity’s Correspondence is an important document on studying the society, politics and culture of the Qing Dynasty, and is an important data on studying written language of division of history into periods. This article takes this as a basic research about the specialized terminology in the Qing Dynasty.This article studding the specialized terminology in the Qing Dynasty Celebrity’s Correspondence divides into four major parts according to the correspondence structure: the first, the main text, the ending and inscribes .It has utilized the static description and the dynamic analysis comparison methods, and has introduced and discussed the characteristic, word-formation and the usage of the specialized terminology in these four major parts. In addition, in the process of introducing and discussing, it has used the method of semantic polymerization, having done a birthplace and combs to the numerous and complicated special use of the correspondence. In the end of the article,it goes deep from the history culture ,the society mentality and the function three aspects, to discuss the survival mechanismthe of the special use in correspondence in modern times.The specialized terminology in Qing Dynasty, inherits generation writings in classical Chinese style and the formulation characteristic, and it has the important influence to later generation’s modern correspondence writing. It may be said that it can inherit the history and break new ground for the future.In nowadays, some specialized terminology, which has the vitality and the practical value, still appear within many official letters and individual correspondence. This is the result which several-thousand-year of Chinese culture accumulated. We ought to see that only learn to develop what is useful or healthy and discard what is not; the specialized terminology still can bring the active effect into play in modern letters writing.
