This paper attempts to conceptual metaphor theory to the political discourse, through the comparative analysis of the political speeches of the leaders of China and the U.S. National conceptual metaphor, looking for similarities and differences to further discuss the hidden lies in its cultural factors and mining the relationship between the author's intentions and the proportion of metaphor areas. Over the years, the metaphor has been the focus of linguistic research, metaphor study of the origin can be traced back to Aristotle. Aristotle's two famous book \In these two books, Aristotle wrote of: \Aristotle, however, only be defined as a rhetorical metaphor, play the role of beautifying the language of metaphor underestimated other significance. However, one of the political discourse on metaphor research has very little. To 15,365 characters of Chinese corpus and 12,918 word American English Corpus, a comparative analysis of the top leaders of China and the United States National Political Speech metaphor, find out the similarities and differences, and tap to hide behind cultural factors. Corpus used in this paper by the Chinese President Hu Jintao and U.S. President George W. Bush at the many political speech text form, all text can be divided into three categories: First, research on natural disasters; Second is the college's speech; Third Year message. Chinese corpus contains three political speech text, they are \American political speeches collected text can be divided into three themes: Bush's Speeches on Hurricane Katrina; Bush's Speech atTsinghua University; President Bush's Speech at Christmas, 2006. All political speeches in the official website of the text, to ensure the validity of the source corpus. Author uses Steen's \English as the background, however, the existence of a large Chinese corpus metaphor proves the universality of conceptual metaphor. (2) in the Chinese corpus predominant proportion of the first six metaphor categories are: natural metaphor, the journey metaphor, architectural metaphor, the war metaphor, metaphor and student circles metaphor; corpus in the United States accounted for the major proportion of English first six metaphors category are: human metaphor, the journey metaphor, natural metaphor, family metaphor, metaphors and student theater metaphor. Among them, the journey metaphor, metaphor and students of natural metaphors are present in the Chinese and American English corpus, and some metaphors categories exist only in Chinese or American English corpus. (3) Culture plays an important role in the metaphorical conceptualization metaphors at different points in the two corpora hidden behind many cultural factors, such as: traditional, religious, political system. (4) According to the different events background, the distribution of the proportion of metaphor areas will produce subtle changes to cope with the intent of the authors in different contexts. The authors hope that this paper will be beneficial to promote the systematic study of metaphor in political discourse, to help people learn more about the culture of China and the United States. However, this is just political speech metaphor for a preliminary exploration, research, there are many shortcomings, the authors look forward to in the near future be able to metaphor for a deeper study.
