Abstract


In the late Qing Dynasty, as the rapid development of domestic economic and foreign vocational education ,China’s vocational education came into being and developed gradually. Many educationists emerged at that era who are determined to devote to vocational education and thus change china’s society , Zou Taofen is one of them .Since joined the the editor department of zhonghua vocational education publication in 1922, Zou Taofen had put a lot efforts in the career of vocation education. He had took succession of Huang Yanpei’s education ideas, and deveoloped his own frame of conception in vocation education through continous practice. Zou Taofen’s vocational education thought and related practice not only stimulate the expansion and promotion of vocational education at that time, but also play an important guiding role in our practice today.This thesis has illustrated the origin of Zou Taofen’s thinking of vocational education and his ideological system . It focused on Zou Taofen unique career guidance education and promotion activities in his whole education ideological system, including translation introduction of domestic and foreign books, implementation methods of vocational education .Besides, Zou’s education of profession cultivation , promotion of women’s vocational education, vocational education for workers and the traditional education for students have also been analyzed in the thesis..The features of Zou Taofen’s vocational education is very distinctive. He extended the vocational education from schools to companies. And he paid his attentions to the vocational training of workers , career guidance education and the interest of recipients. Except these, he advocated the development of vocational education into a life-long education, rather than quick short-term education. Zou Taofen’s thinking of vocational education provides a good reference. to the development of today ’s vocational education.
