Abstract


The New Century, a knowledge-based, research-driven, talent is the key to a new era of knowledge economy, quietly entered the stage of history of human life. International trend towards a knowledge-based world, attention and development of higher education has become a national competition to win, the strategy of choice for the trial of strength. Graduate education as the highest level in the higher education system, the position and role in the future society is increasing and expanding. It is not only the role of training high-level personnel, but also the role of innovation and knowledge caused by the unprecedented attention of the international community. A national graduate education level and speed of development, reflected to some extent a country's scientific and technological strength, and thus related to the strength of the entire country's comprehensive national strength. Therefore, graduate education has an important strategic position in the entire education system, universal attention by governments and the education sector. This paper aims to review of the historical development of graduate education in China and Russia and comparative analysis of graduate education between the two countries to further research, the similarities and differences between China and Russia in the field of graduate education, and analyze the causes of these similarities and differences, aim for the the sound development of the new era of graduate education and improved steadily provide valuable reference and Reform. The subject of the study is divided into six parts: the first part of the paper ambiguous concept to define. The second part of the history of the development of China and Russia graduate education are summarized, and laid the basis of the facts behind the Comparative Study. The third part to compare graduate education between China and Russia, through the comparison of different levels of analysis to identify the similarities and differences between the two countries in the field of graduate education. This part is also a main part of the thesis. Part IV by comparison of graduate education between China and Russia and found that the lack of graduate education between the two countries, and analysis of the deficiencies. The fifth part focuses on China, Russia postgraduate education heterogeneity between cause analysis. Analysis of the causes of the differences from traditional culture, political factors, changes in the pattern of the world. Part VI is combined with China's national conditions, with reference to the comparative analysis of the conclusions put forward a number of measures of Postgraduate Education.
