Abstract

Barium titanate is an important electronic ceramic materials, it is widely used to produce multi-layer ceramic capacitors, thermistors, dynamic random access memory, multi-layer substrate, a variety of sensors, semiconductor materials because of its excellent ferroelectric, piezoelectric, voltage and insulation. With the miniaturization, multi-functional and intelligent direction trends of electronic components,a higher request has been proposed to crystal grain size and microstructure control of ceramic medium materials, namely the nanometer crystal barium titanate porcelain materials needs to prepare. The particle size of about 30~50nm, well dispersed cubic phase barium titanate nanoparticles has been prepared by microwave assistance reverse microemulsion in this paper.Preparation of different reverse microemulsion system by OP-10, oleic acid, CTAB as surfactant, hexanol, pentanol, octanol as cosurfactant, cyclohexane, heptane, isooctane as the oil phase, Barium nitrate solution as the dispersed phase in this paper ,Determination of the formula of microemulsion system by researching maximum water solubilization . Determination of stability of microemulsion system by drawing Quasi-ternary phase diagram. the result indicate that microemulsion system can be more water solubilization when using non-ionic surfactants and the chain length to be match of cosurfactant and oil phase. It is the formula when the OP-10 as surfactant, hexanol as cosurfactant and cyclohexane as oil phase for the synthesis of barium titanate nanoparticles by microwave reverse microemulsion. the most stable microemulsion system is obtained when OP-10 / cyclohexane as 0.35 mol/L, the molar ratio of hexanol and OP-10 is 1.3.In determining the basis of microemulsion systems, explored of a synthesis parameters of barium titanate nanoparticles by studying the reaction temperature, reaction time, surfactant concentration, the amount of cosurfactant, the initial concentration of reactants, water content, barium titanium molar ratio other factors on the preparation of barium titanate nanoparticles The synthesized powders were characterized by X Ray Diffraction, Transmission Electron Microscope. Thermal Analysis, analysis and detection methods. the result indicate that time and temperature will promote the synthesis of barium titanate, but it will make the crystal size is too large that temperature is too high and time is too long. Water content has an important effect to nanoparticles size and barium titanium molar ratio has an important impact to product purity. The narrow particle size distribution, particle size of 30~50nm, dispersed well cubic phase barium titanate nanoparticles is obtained when the reaction temperature is 65°C, the reaction time is 10min, water and OP-10 molar ratio is 10, barium and titanium molar ratio is 1
