Abstract


With the arrival of an aging society , the elderly living conditions and social problems caused by scholars and experts increasingly widespread concern about the aging society emerged in many research and older age groups , but mostly with the elderly as a qualitative research groups , and the lack of a gender perspective on the use of older age groups to study the differences , especially the lack of specialized research groups of older women , and elderly issues are largely older women , older women suffer from age discrimination it is also suffering from gender discrimination. Therefore, this study concerned with the overall situation of older people living at the same time , special attention to issues in which gender differences exist . This paper surveys hundred villages in Jilin Province to study the living conditions of the elderly , a comprehensive understanding of the survival status of the elderly in rural areas , including economic , political, cultural , health, pension, and other aspects of family life and found the living conditions that exist in the elderly problem , to solve problems of aging societies Countermeasures ; draw feminist research methods and gender perspective , the living conditions in the older age groups found gender differences , especially in older women found the particularity of gender analysis to provide statistical data . And to take in-depth interviews and qualitative research methods combined , focusing on the living conditions of older age groups to compare gender differences , and to analyze the differences in the underlying causes behind . Explore the new situation to solve the problem of rural elderly new methods, new ways , in order to further implement the basic national policy of gender equality and the promotion of a harmonious society construction. Paper is divided into five parts : The first part of the paper the research background , research review and research methodology is described ; second part of the thesis involved the core concepts and theories to give a detailed statement ; third part shows the rural areas of Jilin Province the survival status of the elderly ; fourth part , combining survey data and case interviews , and the use of a gender perspective in-depth analysis of the living conditions of the elderly homogeneity and heterogeneity ; fifth part of the elderly living conditions that exist in outstanding issues in-depth analysis and put forward countermeasures recommendations.
