Abstract


Critical Discourse Analysis Critical Linguistics earlier called by the British linguist Fowler in 1979 in Language and Control a book made. Its object of attention as discourse analysis. There are two ways of Discourse Analysis: Critical Discourse Analysis and Critical Discourse Analysis Non. Non-Critical Discourse Analysis concern is the level of discourse in the language of things, such as sentence cohesion, coherence, Turn, which does not involve the concept of sociological level. The critical discourse analysis (CDA), as a method of discourse analysis, not only in the language level concern discourse, but the discourse of discourse as a social practice. Analysis found that: the U.S. media in the Bush administration asked comprehensive immigration reform its attitude towards immigrants are complex: on the one hand, immigration reform is imperative that the media consensus; the other hand, most of the media reports on immigration too much emphasis on \\The reason for the former and the United States' own economic interests associated with the American society in which the existence of hidden discrimination against migrants related. The results of this study showed that: the language of the news media not only reflects reality, its use will be the impact of ideology, but it is also ideological reproduction.
