Abstract


E-learning has been widely used in distance education.Since the life-long education has become necessary in society,students who would like to study beyond the traditional classroom increase rapidly.But not all the learners who want to study at anyplace and anywhere have a fixed place and time.So,here comes a new way mobile-learning(m-learning).M-learning has two modes,one is a short message based model,and the other is online-based model.This article is based on the second one.There are two ways to get m-learning source:one is rewriting the web pages,the other is transforming the existing Web page.The first way is suitable for the new web context,and for dealing with the existing ones,the second way is a good choice.So,In this paper,I will implement a transform tool.This main work of this paper carried out as follows:(1) Based on the research of the m-learning theory,the author gives the range of the transformation,and analyzes the feasibility of it.(2) After comparing all the relevant markup language,the author finds out the most suitable ones for transforming,and develops transform rules from it.(3) The writer implements the transform rules by cut-off and format-clear of the HTML document to make it a document which strictly compliant with the XHTML MP specification.The characteristic in this paper lies in the exploration of a new method which can convert web resources to mobile learning,which means convert non-standard HTML documents to XHTML MP documents for PC and mobile devices.
