Abstract

With the rapid development of science and technology , increasingly fierce competition in the global market , the upgrading of products faster , users demand increasingly diverse . Computer parametric design technology is to meet product demand personalization , diversification measures taken by the inevitable . With the development of robot technology and the emergence of a knowledge-based economy , industrial robots play an increasingly large role in modern manufacturing , robot design and improved growing concern by the people . This article in the domestic and foreign parametric design studies based on SolidWorks software as a platform to study the principles and methods of parametric design provided by using the COM interface using the COM-based API , and mastered SolidWorks secondary development principles and methods , the use of programming software, Visual Basic 6.0 and macro utility that comes with SolidWorks SolidWorks API function calls to achieve software secondary development . Its parametric design for a particular type of injection characteristics of the robot , and robot parts virtual assembly to establish the parameters of the robot model . Robot model into the finite element analysis software ANSYS , numerical simulation analysis using ANSYS robot . The simulation of the robot typical conditions , static analysis , modal analysis , harmonic analysis , transient dynamic analysis, static robot dynamics . Manipulator finite element analysis , topology optimization structural modifications to improve the robot's low-level inherent frequency , improving the robot vibration modal characteristics to improve the mechanical hand dynamic performance to reduce vibration in the course of their work , to improve the robot positioning accuracy . The study showed that the use of finite element analysis software ANSYS the robot dynamic simulation , structural optimization design can improve the vibration characteristics of the robot , for the optimized design of the robot , the dynamic response of the control to provide a fast and reliable method .
