Abstract


With global climate warming, pollution and energy consumption increasing, low-carbon environmental protection and energy conservation has become a global problem. Countries around the world for new and renewable energy are particularly seriously. Relative shortage of oil and gas resources, with the rapid economic development of our society, the increasing oil consumption, resource shortage situation is very serious. Since 1993, China has become net importer of oil. Increasing oil demand and diminishing resources of crude oil made difficulties between supply and demand. This has became the serious pressures of constrained the development of long-term social and economic. Fuel ethanol is alternative energy, the representative of great significance for national development. It can reduce carbon emissions, achieve environmental protection objectives. At the same time, it also can ease the pressure of energy shortage. However, due to Chinese fuel ethanol industry’s technology and raw material reasons, production of fuel ethanol is very difficult to make money, so it must rely on state subsidies. National policy for fuel ethanol industry give fixed production enterprises some subsidies, forced that sale in fixed area and binding prices with gasoline prices.In this thesis, the SCP paradigm of industrial organization as a theoretical basis, analyze Chinese fuel ethanol industry development from the perspective of market behavior and give some recommendations. Firstly, it start from the SCP paradigm theory and analyze the specific content of the market behavior, as the theoretical foundation for the entire article. Secondly, study of Brazil and the United States development of fuel ethanol market and their market behaviors. Thirdly, analyze the Chinese fuel ethanol market behavior. Finally, according to foreign experiences and requirements of the industry make recommendations for future development. Because of the fuel ethanol market is rather special, it’s the national pricing, and it’s forced sale in a particular region. the price behavior and Ad behavior of market behavior is less involve. This article describes the market action, mainly market merger, material-faced behavior of the market and behavior of the market and technological progress.
