Abstract


With the advent of knowledge economy,knowledge and intellectual achievements have become the strategic resources witch competed fiercely both at home and abroad, and it puts the intellectual property to the height of the priority development.As the important component of the intellectual property,patent has aroused widely attentions gradually.Formulating a suitable patent strategy,to seek favorable competitive positions for the country,industry,or businesses,has become the research hotspot of the academics, governments and businesses in recent years.Hubei is a big province in the central of our country.As one of the five pillar industries in Hubei,electronic information industry occupies an important position in the economic development in Hubei and nationwide.Therefore,it has very important practical significance to research on the patent strategy of electronic information industry in Hubei.This study is divided into five parts.The first part is introduction,introduces the background,content and methods of this research,and analysis the patent strategy’s development and research status at home and abroad from four countries,such as Japan, the United States,Germany and South Korea.The second part introduces the connotation, types,tactics and some related theories about the patent strategy.In the third part,firstly analysis electronic information industry development in Hubei province’s in chart through the patent information retrieval data,then compare with five coastal provinces and cities in the forefront of Habitat,to show the gap in the patent development of Hubei Province,last uses SWOT method to study the strengths,weaknesses,competition and opportunities in electronic information industry development in Hubei.The fourth part, based on the previous results of the analysis of electronic information technology in Hubei province,proposes the guiding ideology and principles of the patent strategies of electronic information industry in Hubei and develops the implementation of the measures.The fifth part is the conclusion,pointing out the shortcomings of the study and the subsequent direction of the effort.
