Weathering up and downs for more than fifty years,the contemporary Chinese landscape industry has achieved great success both in theory and in practice.However,there come ineluctable problems with all the achievements.It is true that any progress is finished in problems and solving problems.It is obvious that the atmosphere is more blundering for agitprop of concept within the whole industry.Focusing on velocity and efficiency has driven us father and father from tradition,especially in such a time featured in rapid development almost every day.It is time to highlight that tradition is not just handy thing but the blood streaming in our veins.Tradition is the nutrition for us to stand up among others.The reason the way of landscape got lost is the difficulty to see the way out,and the difficulty to remember the way in.Based on such general trend within the landscape industry,the essay tries to classify theories of Chinese painting during the South-Song and the North-Song Dynasty.Then the essay focused on finding out the evolution of nature concept in social level.In the meantime,the essay makes comparison between different nature concept and different landscape style in different times.To conclude,the essay applies a new perspective to analyze Chinese traditional gardens.The method of reverting to the culture background to understand the relating Chinese traditional gardens is on the ground of traditional Chinese culture.In conclusion,the essay commits itself to sum up fundamentals of design method for future practice.
