Abstract
|
Kainic acid causes seizures the early forebrain changes microglia and neurons , we apply a single standard of immunohistochemical method are shown in rat forebrain of OX - 42 ( labeled microglia cells ) and Fos protein ( labeled neurons and microglia ) the time pattern of expression and relationship of the OX-42 and Fos - positive cells by immunohistochemistry double labeling method . The results show that early seizures in rats (15min ~ 360min), kainic acid causes forebrain microglia OX - 42 positive expression of OX- 42 positive experiences gradually increased with the change of the survival time , but also reduce the process ; reaction strength of order : 120min group gt ; 360min group gt ; 60min group gt ; 30min 15min group . The positive expression of Fos protein in neurons and microglia , also presents the changes gradually increased and decreased , but Fos -positive microglia earlier than the time of peak of Fos positive neurons ; each group of Fos positive for nerve yuan number of differences were statistically significant ( p lt; 0.01 ) . OX-42 -positive microglia and Fos-positive neural elements forebrain mainly distributed in the cerebral cortex , hippocampus , amygdala and other parts of the distribution characteristics of the two are basically the same . Conclusion: microglia and neurons involved in kainic acid induced seizures early changes .
