Abstract

Red clover is a legume clover species widely distributed around the world. It was originally used by the indigenous people of North America local to the treatment of whooping cough, gout and malignant tumor. Later, people also use it to treat asthma, bronchitis, cough, athlete's foot, eczema, psoriasis and other diseases. The current study found that contains a variety of isoflavones, red clover plant, these ingredients can be a good disease prevention is a very natural medicine development prospects. Red clover extract as raw material production in Enshi, Red clover isoflavones separation and purification methods, Determination of the total isoflavone content, antioxidant and antimicrobial activity. Tests the following conclusions: 1) using silica gel column chromatography, two pure from the separation of the ethyl acetate extract using thin layer chromatography, UV spectral identification method, HPLC 1 H the-NMR 13 C-NMR identification, respectively thorn formononetin and biochanin A. 2) establish a HPLC method for simultaneous determination of red clover herbs daidzein, genistein, stab formononetin content. By UV spectrophotometric method for the determination of total isoflavone content of red clover extract, red clover isoflavone content was determined by high performance liquid chromatography determination of the results of the error. With ethanol extract isoflavones from red clover, pigment and alcohol-soluble protein impurities with extract, the extract is mixed systems, single-wavelength UV spectrophotometric method for the determination of isoflavone content, due to these the presence of impurities, the background absorption, the impurities will seriously interfere with the determination of isoflavone content. 3) Red clover isoflavones vitro antioxidant properties. Red clover isoflavone to extract ethanol solution 2 - · and hydroxyl radical · OH scavenging effect on superoxide radical O research. Found that a certain concentration of red clover / sub>, superoxide radicals O << sup> - · and hydroxyl radical of · OH obvious clear. Determination of the effects of extracts of normal mouse liver homogenates in vitro generated oxidized lipids, and red clover isoflavones acute alcoholism mice protection and antioxidant effect of different concentrations of red clover isoflavones. 4) Red clover isoflavones antibacterial activity test, MIC values ??were: Staphylococcus aureus 0.5mg/ml, Bacillus subtilis 0.8mg/ml, E. coli 1.2 mg / ml, brewer's yeast 1.6 mg. The results show that: the red clover isoflavones against Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, E. coli and brewer's yeast good antibacterial effect. Red clover is one of the characteristics of plant resources for the province, rich in natural resources. By its chemical composition and biological activity of the effective parts of the system, the results show that the value of red clover has significant pharmacological activity and development. This research has laid a foundation for its further development and application of.
