Abstract


\An important cause of rural backward asymmetry of information with the external environment. Implementation of information technology to stimulate industrialization, the dominant strategy of the national economy by leaps and bounds, we must accelerate the development and improvement of rural information service. For a long time the total supply of rural information service, however, is seriously inadequate and inefficient. Strengthen the supply of information services in rural areas, it is necessary to study the farmers' demand for information services. The demand for information services in rural areas is the basis for the development of a scientific and reasonable supply of public services in rural areas policy. Therefore, this article first demand for information services in rural areas of concept definition and properties judgment, and elaborated communication theory, innovation diffusion theory, and public goods / services the theoretical framework, the research status at home and abroad to discuss the needs of rural information service and analysis inadequacies of existing research. Then, the paper analyzes the main demand for information services in rural areas, content classification, channel classification and demand characteristics of the theoretical framework and literature review, we have come to the influencing factors model of rural information service demand content and demand channels. In Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, qualitative semi-structured research and focus interviews, as well as the quantitative questionnaire survey on the basis of survey data, collation, the descriptive statistics statistics, correlation analysis, and binary Logistic regression, this article from the point of view of the empirical research to verify the impact factor model of rural information service demand content and demand channels. Based on the analysis of the needs of the rural information service, the end of this article points out the problems in the rural information service supply and demand-oriented rural information service supply and demand balance mechanism for multi-service system build. The innovation of this paper is to introduce a complete theoretical framework for analysis of the demand for information services in rural areas, in close connection with the framework of communication theory, innovation diffusion theory and the theory of public goods elaborate a complete theory, fill the blank of domestic research information services in rural areas lack of demand theory. The same time, break with the stereotype usually only for descriptive statistics, inferential statistics of the various factors that may affect the demand for information services in rural areas, a comprehensive analysis of the study on the demand for information services in rural areas content classification and channel classification. Other domestic research demand for information services in rural areas, are few livelihood information needs and women demand. In this study, a breakthrough in this regard. 2005-2008, China's continuous four central first document stressed the need to strengthen the information construction in rural areas, promote the development of rural information service. Beginning in 2006, the country provinces and cities the township are entering a new period of rapid construction of rural information.
