Abstract


The rapid development of the Internet makes more and more applications require access to a variety of locations in different heterogeneous data sources . So how to realize the exchange of visits between heterogeneous databases and data sharing has become an urgent need to confront and solve the problem. Data exchange is a technique for data sharing , this article as a starting point , the establishment of a new common model of heterogeneous database data exchange . First, the analysis of the data exchange research content and present status . Heterogeneous database data exchange main difficulty is the lack of a common data model for effective unified description of the database relational schema , and XML strong structural and semantic meet good relational database structure and expression of various constraints needs. Then discussed in detail XML and relational database schema mapping , and gives XML to relational databases and relational database to XML mapping rules. In the exchange of data between heterogeneous databases in the process of heterogeneous data model structure and semantics exist between the various conflicts , this paper establishes a heterogeneous database data exchange rules to eliminate these conflicts , and the development of human-machine interface makes the rule base to develop more flexible. When a large object data read from the source database after the formation of a binary data file , binary data files can not be directly stored in the XML document. This article will binary data encoded as text-based format and then stored in the XML text. Finally , we propose a new XML-based heterogeneous data exchange model , hiding the details of the rules , and through the analysis of a specific example , the. NET platform to achieve the data exchange , the experiment proved that the model interaction and versatility has made good results.
