Abstract


Due to the deepening of enterprise information construction , expansion of the upgrade of the hardware and software resources and applications , resulting in the problem of the coexistence of multiple heterogeneous databases . The heterogeneity of various performance : data model , a data model with the different products and a number of different versions of the same product . Full use of existing resources in order to save costs , within the enterprise and between enterprises often need to exchange information between heterogeneous databases . The physical distribution of these heterogeneous database is cross-sectoral and inter-regional . So how to achieve conversion and how to achieve conversion results of cross-regional transmission of information between heterogeneous databases become a key part of this topic . Build the system's platform for web applications , database relational model , this article concentrates on Web-oriented heterogeneous relational database conversion . In the choice of conversion technology , XML' dissertation">XML has become the standard of the Internet enterprise applications data exchange format. Note that the proposed common model in XML , relational databases and XML reversible two-way conversion , the establishment of the unity of conversion tool for heterogeneous relational data sources . The conversion process preserves the integrity constraints of the relational database . SOAP is an XML-based transport protocol in the choice of transmission technology , can facilitate the resolution and transmission XML document , select the network transmission SOAP technology . This work is mainly reflected in three parts: first , the relational database schema and XML Schema ( XML Schema ) between the bi - directional mapping mechanism , various semantic mapping algorithm proposed reservation database . Second , we discuss the algorithm to convert between the relational database data and XML documents , and based on DOM technology and JDSC interface complete access to XML documents and databases . Third, discussed the communication implementation of the SOAP protocol , complete the on -demand client and server -side design . The result of the conversion of database structure and data transmission across a network .
