Abstract


Coal transporting cost refers to the all expenses happened during coal transportation and marketing enterprise’ s purchasing from producing area and carrying to power plants or ports.Coal transporting cost involves coal purchase cost,train freight,port charge,and loading charge,etc. Coal transporting cost is the primary determinant of making purchase plan, sales strategy and transportation scheme.Traditional management method of coal transporting cost is to put transporting cost into the category that financial software manages,and analyze and manage transporting cost through monthly financial statement.However,as the coal market keeps heated in recent years,enterprise’ s business volume is increasing rapidly,and traditional management module has shown disability to meet the demand of enterprise’ s information-based management at the present phase.Besides,there exists magnitude-hidden trouble in the fund management of dozens of billion Yuan of transporting cost of every year. Therefore,our enterprise brought forward a software project plan at the end of 2006 to build an Enterprise Business Management Information System (EBMIS).Among this project,the management system of coal transporting cost is a sub-system("this system" for short thereinafter).After analyzing the actual demand of the system,the paper brings forward an implementation scheme to adopt J2EE technical standard to build a web-based multilayer enterprise information system(EIS).According to the flow of software development,the scheme first analyzes the demand of the system,then presents the general design idea,and affirms the feasibility of the general design by studying related technology.After that,detailed design of the system and software development is accomplished.The goal of building this system that "automatic calculation of coal transporting cost,process monitor and control and dynamic management" is achieved.The system increases significantly the efficiency of coal transporting cost calculation through the automatic calculation function realized by enumeration correlative with transportation business,and makes the follow-up process monitor and control and dynamic management impossible.The application of the system is based upon internet,which makes enterprise management and other related operators able to look up and dispose data through system platform at any place and at any moment, and then to provide convincing support to strategic management.The realization of technology J2EE ensures the themes of "expansibility, retractility,dependability and timing" that enterprise-level application is concerned about.In the end,the testing and evaluation of the coal transporting cost management system indicates that the whole system basically achieves the expectant goal.The system was formally put into practice in January 2008 and is performing well at present.
