GIS-based landscape pattern study land-use change research frontier, using GIS means of urban land suitability evaluation system is a range of urban planning and other planning studies of hot. Paper, we try from the point of view of the landscape ecology, environmental management and other disciplines as a case study area, Pudong New Area, the process of change of land use and landscape pattern in the rapid urbanization process and characteristics are discussed in detail and discussed in this on the basis of papers focus on the evaluation of suitability for industrial land distribution from the point of view of the protection of the ecological environment, the main work of the thesis and research findings can be summarized as the following aspects. (1) the use of land use transition matrix, landscape pattern index, the Pudong New Area since 1965, land use and landscape change process and the characteristics of the more in-depth analysis and discussion, the results show that (1) Pudong New Area 40 experienced during the years of rapid urbanization process, the most prominent of agricultural land and rivers disappear, as well as industrial land, roads and land use, urban land use continues to increase. Papers selected boot and binding the two categories of indicators to build the Pudong New Area industrial land ecological suitability evaluation index system, the evaluation factors in ArcGIS software will be digitized and converted to raster format, and then using the weighted raster calculator superposition method for industrial land ecological suitability evaluation. Eventually draw the following conclusions: 1 from industrial land ecological distribution area, Pudong New Area, suitable for distribution of industrial land area of ??109.41 square kilometers, while the 2006 status quo of industrial land area has reached 94.51 square kilometers, suitable for industrial land distribution The potential for expansion is only 15 square kilometers. So in the future should be more optimized to adjust the layout of the start of the industrial land, industrial land to improve the output efficiency, maintain the ecological balance of the region. View from the spatial distribution of industrial land ecological suitability, suitable for the development of industrial land lots more concentrated, which is in line with the \Appropriate distribution of industrial lots are mainly concentrated in the central region of the Pudong New Area, as well as in the southeastern portion. From the spatial distribution of the status quo of industrial land, in addition to the more appropriate distribution of several national and municipal industrial park, and the rest scattered in other land use types, or has not been approved industrial park industrial sites do not meet the ecological suitability requirements should be adjusted in the future land use planning. (3) Pudong New Area of ??land use structure and layout optimization. The layout of the status of the study area, as well as current status of environmental quality and pollution point source analysis of the distribution of identification, which pointed out that the status quo of regional land use layout and proposed on this basis, Pudong New Area, land use the corresponding optimal adjustment of the recommendations: the economical and intensive land, control the scale of construction land; development of eco-economy, the construction of eco-industrial park; optimizing the ecological pattern of regional ecological security: improve the landscape corridor, conservation of biological diversity: as well as to increase the ecological construction, strengthen the protection of wetlands beach.
