This article based on the reflection of cities and urban ecological environment condition,sums up four major challenges faced by the current urban construction.Through the review andsummary of the development of urban forest historical documents and related reviews,summarizes the urban forest is put forward and the development of related events, andsummarize the main theories of the urban forest planning and important practical cases at homeand abroad. At the same time, collecting and summarizing the related landscape, landscapeecology and ecological planning theory and the important practice case, and according to thetheory and case planning out the existing problems, put forward urban forest planning for thefuture development trend should be combined with landscape planning, in a larger scale, moreobjective and scientific analysis in order to proceed with the planning and construction ofurban forest system.To meet these challenges, this paper puts forward using the method of building landscapepattern construction of urban forest, and summarize concepts and definitions of constructingurban forest landscape pattern, the main research contents and features, and compared with theadvantages and disadvantages of the traditional planning model.
