Abstract

This study for North transition region with hot summers and cold winter weather conditions , resulting in a single cold type lawn grass can not grow normally in the region , growth difficult summer range of diseases , and high maintenance costs . Xian Ya Jian International Golf Club , for example , in late May 2006 , groundbreaking was no precedent at home and abroad , the use of warm grasses Zoysia cold turf has built eight years ( Poa annua overseeding ryegrass ) operations, mainly in October 2007 , has completed the Zoysia lawn after this overseeding with perennial ryegrass . Build a lawn in the hot season warm type grass - based , long green period of the cold season, cold grass landscape auxiliary be able to endure the harsh natural conditions in the North transitional zone . In this study , the following conclusions : 1 . Situation at home and abroad was no reference to the precedent , pioneering in the warm grasses Zoysia have been completed several years of cold type lawn overseeding operations. Summed up in cold type lawn the warm type grass overseeding process , the technical means to conduct , and the last two and a half years on the cover of Zoysia track , and to prove the feasibility of overseeding . Maintenance costs of the venue the Ministry from 2002 to 2008 . Successful Zoysia overseeding after a comprehensive breakdown of comparison can be drawn in the the Zoysia excellent pest resistance , low water and fertilizer requirements the role of the characteristics , site maintenance costs to obtain a drop of 20 per cent , the transition zone of the North that overseeding zoysiagrass golf turf maintenance cost reduction .
