Abstract

Planetary gear transmission yields several advantages such as low weight、great load sharing and great efficiency,so it is used in a variety of applications. Gear tooth surface is used for transferring power in planetary gear, in that way quite high intensity and reliability is needed in every system component. Carrier is one of the most important parts in planetary gear transmission, so its deformation has great effect on contact stress distribution produced by gear mesh and sufficient static intension and intensity are required in carrier. In theory, the load of the planetary gear transmission system is carried by pinion equably. Load unevenly distributed in planetary gear train increases both planet gear design load and system vibration and noise ,which is caused by manufacturing error、assembly error and deformation of carrier. Carrier is one of the most important components of the planetary gear transmission system, whose structure and error parameter have great influence on system load sharing character. At present domestic research on carrier is concentrated on medium and small carrier and simple structure carrier. Research on complex structure carrier in high-power marine planet gearbox is very few and influence of each carrier factor on load sharing character of the whole planetary gear transmission system is not analyzed deeply. Theoretic research on important structure carrier in high-power marine planetary gear transmission system and the relation between each influence factor and system uneven load coefficient has important engineering application background, whose searching achievements provide design reference for planetary gear transmission system. In this paper differential carrier of high-power marine planetary gearbox is researched. Static load of carrier is studied by Static Calculation. Rigidity and intensity of differential carrier is checked by general analytical method and infinite method. Restraint modal analysis is carried on for carrier by ANSYS FEM software. Basic concept and analysis object of transient dynamics analysis is introduced, and comparison on two analysis methods is given. Basic calculation theory of mode superposition method is refered to in detail.Transient dynamics analysis of carrier is studied by using dynamic load that was got from dynamic analysis for input load. Steady judgement of transient displacement response of carrier is studied. Manufacturing error and assembly error of carrier is derived. Centralized mass model of differential system uneven load coefficient is built. Calculating process is compiled. Mesh force change state of planet gear and solar gear in split-power planet gear system is studied, at the same time differential system uneven load coefficient is investigated.Effect of uneven load coefficient on manufacturing error、assembly error、carrier stiffness、mass and velocity is analyzed. Effect of global sensitivity and part sensitivity of carrier the maximum stress and the maximum deformation on every structure parameter of carrier is studied. Structure optimization of carrier is derived based on sensitivity analysis. Comparison of stress and deformation distribution before and after optimization is discussed. Inspection for effectiveness of optimization result is given.
