Abstract


With the modern scientific and technological progress and social development , image monitoring system has been applied to all aspects of social life . In the field of video surveillance systems , wired video surveillance system is more common. In a wide range of monitoring , the monitoring site is uncertain , complex terrain situations , such as the monitoring of landslides or mudslides , wired by the inherent limitations of the physical layout and powerless . With the development of computer technology and communication technology , embedded system technology , wireless communication technology and TCP / IP - based Internet technology combined with wireless remote video surveillance system can be a good solution to such defects . So that the application areas and the role of the monitoring system has been greatly expanded . The main task of this paper is to wireless remote monitoring , wireless remote monitoring system of hardware and software resources , based on currently available hardware and software equipment and GPRS wireless network resources , hardware and software programming , system functions by software implementation. In order to achieve a simple and feasible wireless remote video surveillance system . Based on the goal of the system design , analysis of the characteristics of the wireless remote monitoring system and its hardware and software resources , we use ARM_Linux embedded development environment . The overall design of the monitoring system , hardware and software structure of the system is analyzed . Then to Video4Linux kernel application programming interface functions to be programmed on the S3C2410 development board through the USB interface to achieve successive frames of single frame images and video capture and display , and save to file the form . Finally , PPP dial-up access to the system board GPRS module GPRS network and network programming , acquired images are transmitted to the server-side , picture wireless remote transmission . Finally, the implementation of embedded wireless remote video surveillance summary and outlook .
