Objective:This study observed growth hormone levels of postoperative patients with pituitary prolactinoma and nonfunctioning adenoma to see situation of the adult growth hormone deficiency (AGHD) occurrence.Methods:A total of 32 patients enrolled, the patient signed informed consent form, measure height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, arm circumference, abdominal skinfold thickness, grip strength and blood pressure, body fat was detected with fat percentage (fat%), investigated patients with QOL-AGHDA. while detect the lipids. electrolytes, liver function and the anterior pituitary hormone levels.If met the inclusion criteria, do insulin tolerance test (insulin tolerance test, ITT),and the GH, insulin-like growth factor-1 (insulin-like growth factor 1. IGF-1) and IGF binding protein-3 (IGF-binding protein-3. IGFBP-3) determination.Results:After surgery, the most patients with pituitary prolactinoma and nonfunctioning adenoma become AGHD. and male testosterone levels reduce. Most patients with obesity and hyperlipidemia tendencies, and there is fatigue, headache, loss of appetite, poor sleep, loss of libido, etc. impact the quality of life symptoms, including loss of libido and fatigue is particularly evident.Conclusion:After surgery，most patients with nonfunctioning pituitary adenoma and prolactinoma appear AGHD. and most of them appear with lipid adjustment disorders, other endocrine disorders, and quality of life of patients are affected.
