Objective: To understand hospitalized and diagnosed with depression in patients with coronary heart disease, and to observe coronary heart disease and depression and endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) gene G894T polymorphism relationship. METHODS: March 2010 to August 2010 at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University and diagnosed 217 cases of coronary heart disease. According to Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (Hamilton Depression Scale, HAMD) 24 rated in depression group were divided into coronary heart disease and coronary heart disease group, score less than 8 are divided into a total of 178 cases of coronary heart disease; score greater than 20 divided into coronary heart disease a total of 39 cases of depression group. Depression group of psychological medicine inpatient hospital diagnosed depression in 45 patients; healthy control group medical center HAMD total score of less than 8 points total of 85 cases of healthy members. Each of those surveyed collected on age, gender, educational status, alcohol addiction, marital history, family history, medical history and other information. All those surveyed simultaneously measuring height, weight, waist circumference and other projects. Another Fasting venous blood 3m1, genomic DNA, amplified by PCR and restriction enzyme electrophoresis, photographed analysis eNOS gene G894T polymorphism. Analysis of coronary heart disease and depression group and CHD group, depression between the group and the healthy control group eNOS gene G894T polymorphism differences. Results: After HAMD evaluation, 217 cases were investigated in patients with coronary heart disease patients with depression in the number of 39 cases, accounting for the total number of patients with coronary heart disease survey 17.79%. Depression in patients with coronary heart disease and women accounted for 21 cases, men accounted for 18 cases. Constituent ratio was 46.25%, 53.75%, gender was not statistically significant (P gt; 0.05). Each group eNOS gene G894T polymorphism: allele frequency in each group are in line with Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (X2, respectively 0.07,0.11,0.06 and 0.07, all P gt; 0.05). CHD group were only detected in one case of pure TT genotype, the other groups were not detected. Coronary heart disease and depression group compared with the CAD group, GT heterozygous genotype and T allele frequency distribution of the difference was not statistically significant (P gt; 0.05); coronary heart disease and depression group compared with depression alone, GT heterozygous genotype and T allele frequency distribution of the difference was not statistically significant (P gt; 0.05). Coronary heart disease and depression group and the healthy control group, GT heterozygous genotype and T allele frequency difference was not statistically significant (P gt; 0.05); CHD group compared with depression alone GT heterozygous genotype and T Allele frequencies were no significant differences (P gt; 0.05). CHD group, simple depression group were compared with the healthy control group GT heterozygous genotype and T allele frequency difference was not statistically significant (P gt; 0.05). Conclusion: Coronary artery disease patients with depression compared to 17.79% of patients showed no significant gender differences; coronary artery disease patients with depression eNOS G894T gene polymorphism with the healthy control group, respectively, coronary heart disease, depression group were not statistically significance.
