Abstract


Objective To investigate the diabetes clinical manifestations , pathogenesis merge hemichorea and special imaging changes . Analyze the clinical symptoms of patients with diabetes and patients with hemichorea image change after treatment and pathogenesis , and review of the literature . The dance -like symptoms sudden onset and to the side of the main appear awake , sleep disappear . Early CT findings dance symptoms contralateral caudate nucleus , putamen and ( or ) the high density of the globus pallidus , MRI T 1 WI lesion sites like high signal intensity , T 2 WI compared to the ever-changing signal , clear boundaries , no edema . The conclusions of diabetes mellitus hemichorea are involuntary movements , is a relatively rare extrapyramidal symptoms . More common in diabetic patients with poorly controlled hyperglycemia , acute onset , manifested as unilateral or bilateral limb choreiform ; osmotic pressure of blood sugar and blood ; a combination antidiabetic drugs and dopamine blockers can control Dance symptoms; lesion to the striatum , the imaging characteristic changes , early brain CT showed high density brain MRI T 1 < / sub > WI manifested as unilateral or bilateral basal ganglia high signal , T 2 WI with changing signal . Understanding this sudden disease the dance symptoms and imaging changes conducive to the early diagnosis and treatment of diabetic hyperglycemia .
