The purpose of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) is one of the main causes of neonatal mortality and nervous system developmental disorders . In recent years, the role of abnormal iron metabolism in the pathogenesis of brain damage wide attention , but in HIE not been fully elucidated . This experiment research with HIE serum iron ( SI ) , serum ferritin ( SF ) serological Changes to observe its relationship with HIE , so as to explore the SI , SF HIE . Methods 120 cases of full-term newborns admitted to our hospital neonatal within 48 hours of birth , simple asphyxia group, 60 cases , 60 cases of HIE group ( mild HIE group 30 cases , moderate HIE group 20 cases , severe HIE group 10 Example ) . Also selected as the control group 60 cases for the same period in the of our hospital born without perinatal asphyxia , hypoxia history of obstetric rooming healthy newborns . All newborns at the time of admission ( 12 to 48 hours after birth ) , day-old four days venous blood , SI complex colorimetry , SF by radioimmunoassay were detected by SI , SF level . 1 , normal control group SI the SF concentration levels change with age difference was not significant ( P gt ; 0.05 ) 2 , age ≤ 48h of light , moderate and severe groups of HIE SI , SF levels were lower than the control group , the difference was statistically significant ( P lt ; 0.05 ) ; age ≤ 48h of simple asphyxia group SI , SF content than the control group no difference ( P gt ; 0.05 ) 3 -day-old four days simple asphyxia group , light , medium , severe HIE group children with SI , SF content than the control group significantly increased , the difference was significant resistance ( P lt ; 0.05 ) ; including severe HIE group SI content was significantly high mild to moderate HIE group and simple asphyxia group, the difference was statistically significant ( P lt ; 0.05 ) ; severe HIE group was significantly higher than SF the mild HIE groups and simple asphyxia group , the difference was statistically significant ( P lt ; 0.05). Conclusion 1 , different ages , different levels of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy SI , SF content , prompted disorder of iron metabolism may be involved in the pathogenesis of HIE process ; 2, neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy SI , SF content is different from neonates with asphyxia alone for early clinical diagnosis of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy provide a reference .
